When you first start the game, there will be a prologue. but I’m not going to give those since it’s simple to understand if you played this game. There are actually a lot of terminologies in this game like the Master and Servant relationship, the Holy Grail War, the types of Magic in this game, etc. At the minimum, you have to invest at least 1 month playing 12 hours a day to finish this 100% reading every bit of dialogue but if you ask me if it is worth it? I don’t really know, you can find out yourselves. There’s just no way you can complete this 100% (if you’re planning to) in just 2 – 3 weeks.

You must borrow the patience of God and enlightenment of Buddha while reading it during the hotness of summer just to see the whole story in this game. This Visual Novel is super long! If you want to play this game then I’ll tell you an advice: There are a lot of spoilers below so viewer discretion is advised. Up to this day, it’s still popular in the Anime community due to many adaptations being produced from this game and the popularity from the Visual Novel itself. Fate/Stay Night became so popular on its release following their success on their first Visual Novel, Tsukihime. Also this review is made based on the Visual Novel and not the adaptations.įate/Stay Night became a hit during the day where Moege characters were about to invade the Visual Novel industry and the popularity of the genre is on the rise. This 2004 hit in the Eroge community has been around for atleast 10 years and right now, I’m going to give the first product of the Fate series a full-blown review. But if we’re talking about the franchise, I might aswell say that more or less than 70% of the person you ask what it is would say they don’t know, 25% would talk about the Anime series and other adaptations, and the 5% would refer the original Visual Novel. If we’re talking about visual novels, there’s no way Fate/Stay Night would not show up in any Google search you do.
